abstract |
Provided is a catheter assembly capable of reducing a burden on a living tissue by a distal end portion of an outer catheter while disposing a shaft movably inside the outer catheter. A catheter assembly having an outer catheter and an inner catheter, wherein the inner catheter is positioned more distally than the outer catheter body in a state where the inner catheter body is inserted into the outer catheter body. It is possible to extend from the inner catheter body 70 in the proximal direction, and surround the outer periphery of the outer catheter distal end 45 in a state where the outer catheter distal end 45 formed at the distal end of the outer catheter main body 40 is reduced in diameter. Thus, the outer catheter distal end 45 moves the inner catheter main body 70 relative to the outer catheter main body 40 in the distal direction from the state accommodated in the accommodating section 80.
