titleOfInvention Oscillating element and oscillator using the same
abstract An oscillation element capable of suppressing parasitic oscillation without attenuating oscillation at a desired frequency. An oscillation element that oscillates an electromagnetic wave includes a negative resistance element 101 and a resonator 110 having a first conductor 106 and a second conductor 104. The negative resistance element and the resonator are disposed on the substrate 105, and the negative resistance element is electrically connected to the first conductor and the second conductor, and is capacitively coupled. The series resonance frequency f 1 of the above has a predetermined relational expression with C as the capacitance between the first conductor and the second conductor, and L 1 as the inductance of the first conductor and the second conductor, and is oscillated. There is also a predetermined relationship among the speed of the electromagnetic wave in vacuum, the relative dielectric constant of the substrate, and the length of the diagonal line of the substrate.
