titleOfInvention | Methods and compositions for nucleic acid amplification |
abstract | Methods and compositions for nucleic acid amplification are provided. The teachings of the present invention provide methods, compositions and kits for nucleic acid amplification. In some embodiments of the present teachings, the amplification reaction is performed with at least one high stability primer. In some embodiments, the teachings of the present invention provide a method comprising a high stability primer for amplifying a nucleic acid sequence in a sample comprising a target nucleic acid sequence and a PCR inhibitor. In some embodiments, a method for amplifying a target nucleic acid sequence in a human forensic sample is provided. The method comprises providing a human forensic sample comprising a target nucleic acid sequence, combining at least one high stability primer comprising at least one high stability nucleic acid analog with the target nucleic acid sequence, and subjecting the amplification reaction to the sample. And amplifying the target nucleic acid sequence with a highly stable primer. [Selection] Figure 1 |
