abstract An object of the present invention is to reduce variations in thickness and density of an active material layer. The manufacturing process of the electrodes constituting the method for manufacturing the power storage device includes a charging process of charging a mixed powder (active material mixture) 20 of a powdery active material, a conductive additive and a binder into a mold 11, respectively. In addition, a fluidizing step is provided in which a gas is caused to flow into the mold 11 from the bottom side of the mold 11 through the porous rectifying unit 11 a to fluidize the mixed powder 20 in the mold 11. Further, after the fluidizing step, there is provided a compression molding step of compressing and molding the active material mixture through the current collector with the current collector placed on the mixed powder 20 in the mold 11.
