Disclosed is a water treatment method capable of easily, quickly and efficiently removing harmful substances such as metalloids, heavy metals and radioactive substances even in an aqueous solution containing a large amount of contaminant ions. Magnetic particles 1 as seed particles are added to an aqueous solution 5 containing harmful substance ions 2, and a magnetic complex 7 in which the harmful substance ions 2 are adsorbed using a water-soluble iron salt in the aqueous solution is prepared. A method for removing harmful substances in an aqueous solution by removing the magnetic complex 7 by at least one method selected from magnetic separation 6 and filtration. [Selection] Figure 2 |
