abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a vector for easily and efficiently producing ES-like cells in which a foreign gene is not integrated into a chromosome. A method for producing ES-like cells from somatic cells using a non-chromosomal viral vector has been found. Since the prepared ES-like cells do not have foreign genes integrated in their chromosomes, they are not only convenient for testing and research using these cells, but also in the treatment of diseases and the problems of immune rejection and ethical aspects.
