The present invention provides an efficient method for producing 1,1,2,3-tetrachloropropene and 1,1,1,2,3-pentachloropropane useful as raw materials for fluorocarbons. 1,1,1,3-Tetrachloropropane obtained by the reaction of ethylene and carbon tetrachloride is reacted with chlorine in the presence of ferric chloride to produce 1,1,1,2,3-pentachloropropane. Then, when the 1,1,1,2,3-pentachloropropane is dehydrochlorinated by reactive distillation, the generated 1,1,2,3-tetrachloropropene and hydrogen chloride are reacted in the reaction zone. A production method in which 1,1,2,3-tetrachloropropene is condensed from water. [Selection] Figure 4 |
