abstract Disclosed is a waste treatment apparatus that is low in cost, excellent in appearance, less affected by the external environment, and capable of stable treatment. A waste treatment apparatus (1) has a cylindrical vertical container (2) provided with a stirring blade or the like inside, and a square cylindrical apparatus outer wall (9) substantially circumscribing the outer periphery of the cylinder of the container (2). The outer wall 9 is configured by combining external heat insulating panels 9a to 9d that are installed so as to cover the outer circumference of the cylinder of the container 2 through a space, and the four extra spaces (A to D) at the corners of the rectangular tube shape. In addition, heat exchange means for heating the outside air introduced into the container 2 using the heat of the exhaust is installed. [Selection] Figure 1
