titleOfInvention | Method and apparatus for treating heavy metal-containing water |
abstract | A method and apparatus for treating heavy metal-containing water that can stably remove heavy metals over a long period of time. The method for treating heavy metal-containing water according to the present invention comprises a pH adjusting step of adjusting the pH of water to be treated with a lime layer, and insolubilizing heavy metal in the water to be treated with an iron-containing layer containing an organic material. A first separation step of separating, a second separation step of reducing sulfate ions in the water to be treated by sulfate-reducing microorganisms in the sulfate reduction layer 14 and generating and separating heavy metal sulfides; A third separation step of generating insolubilized substances derived from iron ions and insolubilizing the heavy metal by placing the treated water under aerobic conditions.
