abstract | A photo-responsive cross-linking type which can continuously produce a film with a large area while eliminating the complexity of manufacturing and easily achieving good film thickness control in a short time. A method for producing a liquid crystal polymer film is provided. A step of dissolving a polyfunctional liquid crystalline monomer, a monofunctional liquid crystalline monomer, a polyfunctional photoresponsive monomer and a photopolymerization initiator in a solvent to prepare a photopolymerizable monomer solution; A monomer solution is applied onto the alignment film by a wet coating method to form a photopolymerizable film, and the photopolymerizable film is irradiated with light in a non-oxygen atmosphere to polymerize the photopolymerizable monomer.
