titleOfInvention Method for suppressing leaching of harmful substances from coal ash and earthwork materials for burial
abstract The present invention provides a method for suppressing elution of harmful substances from coal ash. Coal ash is granulated and solidified to form a granulated product having an appropriate particle size. For ease of granulation, hydraulic substances such as cement may be added. Further, a granulating aid such as bentonite or lignin may be used in combination. The granulated product is fired to have a water absorption of 15% or less. [Selection figure] None
