abstract | To provide an exterior part for a watch that is excellent in aesthetic appearance, has little waste of materials during manufacture, and has a low environmental impact. A timepiece exterior part P10 includes a base material P1 and a coating P3 formed by an aerosol deposition method. The coating P3 is preferably provided selectively at a part of the observable part in the state where the watch exterior part P10 is incorporated in the watch. The substrate P1 is preferably made of a material including one or more selected from the group consisting of sapphire glass, quartz, and plastic.
