titleOfInvention | Method for producing low chlorine nickel sulfate / cobalt solution |
abstract | A method for producing a low chlorine nickel sulfate / cobalt solution capable of reducing the amount of cobalt aqueous solution added and reducing the chlorine concentration of the nickel sulfate / cobalt solution is provided. A cobalt addition step of adding a cobalt aqueous solution to a slurry containing chlorine and nickel hydroxide and a sulfuric acid dissolution step of adding sulfuric acid to the slurry. Less than minutes. Since the added sulfuric acid stays in the vicinity of the liquid surface of the slurry, the generated chlorine gas is released without being redissolved in the slurry, and the chlorine removal efficiency is improved. As a result, the amount of cobalt aqueous solution added can be reduced, and the chlorine concentration of the nickel sulfate / cobalt solution can be reduced. [Selection] Figure 1 |
