abstract | Disclosed is a fiber sizing agent that can be used for the production of a molded article having excellent sizing properties of carbon fibers and excellent strength including bending strength. An acrylic resin (A) having at least one functional group (X) selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group derived from a monocarboxylic acid, a hydroxyl group, and an amino group in a range of 2 to 10 mmol / g, and A carbon fiber sizing agent containing an aqueous medium (B), wherein the acrylic resin (A) is a (meth) acrylic monomer (a1) having one carboxyl group, and a (meth) acrylic monomer having a hydroxyl group. It is obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture (a) containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a monomer (a2) and a (meth) acrylic monomer (a3) having an amino group.
