abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of improving the charging stability and storage stability of an electrophotographic toner. A dispersion of colorant particles containing a colorant and a dispersion of release agent particles containing a release agent and having a volume average particle diameter smaller than that of the colorant particles are mixed, and the colorant particles and the release agent are mixed. Aggregating the colorant particles and the release agent particles in the dispersion of the mold agent particles to produce a first aggregate; A dispersion of resin particles containing a binder resin and having a volume average particle size smaller than that of the release agent particles is mixed with the dispersion containing the first aggregate, and the dispersion of the first aggregate and the resin particles is mixed.
