A copolyester comprising a repeating unit derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and a diol compound component, wherein the organophosphorus compound represented by the formula (A) has a phosphorus atom content of 0.1 to 0.1. Copolymerization is performed in a range of 1.2 wt%, and a trifunctional or higher functional organic nitrogen compound is copolymerized in a range of 0.01 to 3.0 mol% with respect to the number of moles of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid component.
