abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a color filter excellent in lightness and contrast ratio without occurrence of cracks or hue change in a colored layer even in a positive resist etching method using a coloring composition containing an acrylic resin. . A step (ii) of applying, exposing to the coating film, and patterning by etching; and a step (iii) of removing the positive resist [C] remaining after the step (ii) with a release solvent [D].
