abstract |
An acidic gas removing device and an acidic gas removing method capable of reducing thermal energy required for separating and recovering acidic gas from an absorbing solution that has absorbed acidic gas are provided. An acidic gas removal apparatus according to an embodiment removes the acidic gas from the exhaust gas by bringing an exhaust gas containing the acidic gas into contact with an acidic gas absorbent containing a temperature-sensitive nitrogen-containing compound. An absorption tower, a phase separation tank for heating the acidic gas absorbent above the lower critical eutectic temperature of the temperature-sensitive nitrogen-containing compound to cause phase separation into a rich absorbent and a lean absorbent, and the rich absorbent A regeneration tower for heating and releasing the acidic gas in the rich absorbent.
