Provided is a method for effectively separating and recovering selenium and tellurium mixed in a hydrochloric acid acidic solution containing one or more elements of rhodium, ruthenium, and iridium. According to the present invention, a compound containing reducing sulfur (-II) is added to a hydrochloric acid acidic solution containing at least one metal component of rhodium, ruthenium and iridium, and selenium and tellurium.
