titleOfInvention | Exhaust gas purification catalyst |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust gas purifying catalyst capable of sufficiently purifying exhaust gas even in various atmospheric conditions such as when the engine is restarted or during normal running. A base material; a first catalyst layer disposed on the base material and including a first material having an oxygen storage / release capability and a first catalyst metal; and the base material disposed on the base material A second catalyst layer containing a second material having oxygen storage / release capability and a second catalyst metal, wherein the first catalyst layer is arranged in the exhaust gas flow direction. The oxygen release rate constant at 400 ° C. of the first material having oxygen storage / release ability is 0.06 sec −1 or more, and is 400 of the second material having oxygen storage / release ability. The above problem can be solved by an exhaust gas purification catalyst having an oxygen release rate constant at 0 ° C. that is smaller than the oxygen release rate constant at 400 ° C. of the first material having the ability to store and release oxygen.
