abstract | When manufacturing a light-emitting device by flip-chip mounting a light-emitting element such as a light-emitting diode (LED) element on a wiring board using an anisotropic conductive adhesive, it is practically not discolored by heat or light. A siloxane compound useful as a curable compound constituting an insulating resin component of an anisotropic conductive adhesive exhibiting sufficient die shear strength can be produced. An epoxy group-containing isocyanuryl-modified polysiloxane, which is a thermosetting compound suitable for a light-reflective anisotropic conductive adhesive, contains a hydrogen polysiloxane and an epoxy group having a terminal unsaturated alkenyl group. The isocyanurate is subjected to a hydrosilylation reaction in the presence of 20 ppm or less of a platinum catalyst. [Selection] Figure 2 |
