abstract | Polyester that not only has excellent adhesion to resin substrates, but also has excellent adhesion to non-resin substrates such as metal, wood, paper, leather, etc., and is easily dissolved in organic solvents and excellent in solution stability. Provision of adhesives. A polyester adhesive containing a polyester resin comprising a polyvalent carboxylic acid component (A) and a polyol component (B), wherein terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid are used as the polyvalent carboxylic acid component (A). Of adipic acid, which contains 1,6-hexanediol, 1,4-butanediol and ethylene glycol as the polyol component (B) and may be contained as the polyvalent carboxylic acid component (A) A polyester adhesive, characterized in that the amount is 10 mol% or less, and the content of 1,6-hexanediol is 35 mol% or more based on the entire polyol component (B).
