abstract | The present invention provides a novel plant extract having an action of improving / preventing skin aging and its applied product. The present invention relates to an extract of a willow fly sprout obtained by bringing a sprout of a sprout (Persicaria hydropiper) into contact with an extraction solvent and extracting a component contained in the sprout. Enzyme activity inhibitors containing a component derived from willow desprout as an active ingredient exhibit excellent inhibitory activity against elastase, collagenase and gelatinase, and can be suitably used for anti-aging agents, cosmetic compositions, functional foods and the like.
