abstract | It is an object of the present invention to provide a gastrointestinal device that can be used in bypass surgery effective for the treatment of diabetes and obesity, and that can suitably prevent the onset of diarrhea and damping. A gastrointestinal device 100 includes a cylindrical portion 110 having a through-hole 111, an indwelling portion 120 that is provided on a proximal end side of the cylindrical portion, and in which the cylindrical portion is placed in a living body, and is formed in the cylindrical portion.
