titleOfInvention | Toner for electrostatic latent image development |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image that has stable chargeability and stable output image density even when the temperature and humidity environment changes. The toner for developing an electrostatic latent image of the present invention develops an electrostatic latent image containing toner particles having an external additive attached to the surface of toner base particles containing at least a binder resin and a colorant. The toner base particles include a polyester resin as a binder resin, and the external additive includes at least silica particles and titanium oxide particles having a number average primary particle diameter in the range of 5 to 50 nm or Metatitanic acid particles, the presence ratio of titanium atoms on the surface of the toner particles, and the residual ratio of the silica particles on the surface of the toner particles after the electrostatic latent image developing toner is ultrasonically dispersed in water. The residual ratio of the titanium oxide particles or the metatitanic acid particles is in a specific range. [Selection figure] None |
