titleOfInvention | Biomass component separation method |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a biomass component separation method capable of extracting glucan, xylan and lignin components contained in plant biomass at a high recovery rate. A biomass component separation method comprising the following steps (1) to (3). Step (1): The herbaceous biomass is added to 8 parts by weight or more and 70 parts by weight or less of alkali and 10 parts by weight or more and 10,000 parts by weight or less of water with respect to 100 parts by weight of the solid content of the herbaceous biomass. The process which heat-processes in the range whose H-factor is 3 or more and 1,500 or less, and obtains alkali primary processing biomass. Step (2): The alkali primary-treated biomass obtained in the step (1) is immersed in an aqueous alkali solution having a concentration of 6% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less at 0 ° C. or more and 50 ° C. or less to obtain an alkali secondary. A step of obtaining treated biomass. Step (3): The water-soluble component of the alkali primary-treated biomass in the step (1) and the water-soluble component of the alkali secondary-treated biomass in the step (2) are taken out to separate lignin and xylan, and the alkali two in the step (2) The process of taking out the water-insoluble component of the next treated biomass and separating the glucan.
