A novel porous polymer metal complex synthesized with a ligand containing a fluorine atom and having a ladder network structure interpenetrated therein and a gas adsorbent having excellent characteristics using the same It is another object of the present invention to provide a gas storage device and a gas separation device that contain therein a gas adsorbent having the above characteristics. The following formula (1) [MXY] n (1) (wherein M represents a divalent transition metal ion, X is an isophthalic acid having a C1-C10 perfluoroalkyl group at the 5-position. Y represents a secondary ligand, and is a bipyridine analog having a pyrazine, bipyridine or 4-pyridyl group at both ends of the molecule, and n is a large number of constituent units composed of [MXY]. A porous polymer metal complex having a fluorine atom and having an interpenetrating network structure, and a method for producing the same .
