abstract | The present invention provides a gas generant composition that can be used in a gas generator for an air bag device of a vehicle and the like, and a molded article of the gas generant composition, which can reduce the combustion temperature while maintaining the combustion speed. As a fuel component (A), guanidine nitrate (A-1) and one or more organic acids (A) selected from tartaric acid, succinic acid, oxalic acid, gluconic acid, malic acid, thiomalic acid and salts thereof -2), containing a basic metal nitrate as the oxidant component (B), wherein the content of the organic acid (A-2) is 5 to 50% by mass with respect to the total amount of the fuel component (A).
