titleOfInvention | Crystalline cyclic olefin ring-opening polymer hydrogenated product |
abstract | The present invention provides a hydrogenated crystalline cyclic olefin ring-opening polymer suitable for optical materials in which a ring-opening polymer and a catalyst are efficiently separated. A polycyclic norbornene monomer containing 50% by weight or more of dicyclopentadiene is opened in a hydrocarbon solvent using a metal compound represented by the following formula (3) as a ring-opening polymerization catalyst. A hydrogenated crystalline cyclic olefin ring-opened polymer (M is a product obtained by hydrogenating the ring-opened polymer obtained by ring polymerization using a homogeneous catalyst and having a racemo dyad ratio of 88% or more. A transition metal atom of Group 6 of the periodic table, R8 is a phenyl group which may have a substituent at the 3, 4 or 5 position, or CH2R10 and R9 are alkyl groups which may have a substituent, or An aryl group, X is a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an alkylsilyl group, L is an electron-donating neutral ligand, a is 0 or 1, b is 0, 1 or 2. R10 is a hydrogen atom , An alkyl which may have a substituent A group or an aryl group.). [Chemical 1] [Selected figure] None |
