titleOfInvention Medical coupling device
abstract An adapter is provided that is adapted to be placed between a drug supply device and a connector of a liquid line and prevents the drug supply device from being easily removed. An adapter that bridges a connecting end of a drug supply device and a connector includes a housing shroud that has one end fitted to a core and the other end fitted to an internal shroud. When fitted to the housing shroud, each of the core and the inner shroud cannot be removed from the housing shroud. A catch hub is provided in the housing shroud to keep the core non-removable relative to the housing shroud. The core is rotatable relative to the housing shroud. The inner shroud has a catch mechanism that can facilitate coupling with the connector when the connector rotates in one direction. Further, the catch mechanism is configured so that the connector is detached when the connector is rotated in the reverse rotation direction. [Selection] Figure 2
