| abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a sense of unity of users participating in a communication duet by controlling a lighting device installed at a base of a singing partner performing a communication duet so as to participate in a lighting effect. A first base where a karaoke device is installed and a second base are connected via a transmission line 20 so that they can communicate with each other. At the first site, based on the lighting control data, the lighting control means 51 that controls the lighting device 33 in synchronization with the karaoke music, and at the second site, the control signal is transmitted to the first site via the transmission path 20. Thus, the remote control means 37e for remotely operating the illumination control means 51 at the first site is provided. The lighting control unit 51 at the first site controls the lighting device 33 based on the acquired lighting control data and the control signal received from the remote control unit 37e at the second site to produce a lighting effect.
