titleOfInvention | pH indicator |
abstract | A novel fluorescent pH indicator is provided. A pH indicator comprising chlorophyll c or a derivative thereof other than the carboxyl group at position 172 or a salt thereof is provided. Also provided is a pH measurement kit comprising a container containing the pH indicator. In addition, the pH indicator is brought into contact with the measurement sample, excitation light is irradiated to generate fluorescence in the pH indicator, and the generated fluorescence is compared with the fluorescence from the pH indicator in the pH standard solution. A pH measurement method comprising determining is provided. [Selection figure] None |
