abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a two-component developer capable of obtaining a recorded image having excellent image quality with few magnetic carrier adhesion traces on an image while ensuring a sufficient image density. A two-component developer containing a toner and a magnetic carrier, the magnetic carrier containing a magnetic core and a resin, the magnetic core being a ferrite containing Sr and Ca, and scanning. In the reflected electron image of the cross section of the magnetic carrier photographed with a scanning electron microscope, i) the area ratio of the ferrite part is 0.70 or more and 0.90 or less, and ii) the number average area of the crystal is 2.0 μm 2 or more and 7 0.0 μm 2 or less.
