abstract |
Various compositions comprising an iodocarbon compound such as trifluoroiodomethane (CF3I), which have tremendous stability and are advantageous for various applications encapsulated as refrigerants in various cooling systems. Provision of the composition that can be used in A heat transfer comprising: (a) at least one iodocarbon; and (b) an amount of at least one diene-based compound effective to stabilize the at least one iodocarbon against decomposition. Composition. The iodocarbon compound is preferably iodofluorocarbon, and particularly CF3I. The diene-based compound is preferably isoprene or propadiene. [Selection figure] None |
