PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle provided with a motor of a type suitable for a hybrid vehicle. A hybrid vehicle according to the present invention includes an engine, a continuously variable transmission coupled to an output shaft of the engine, a clutch coupled to an output shaft of the continuously variable transmission, and an output shaft of the clutch. A drive wheel, an electric motor mechanically coupled to the drive wheel, and a battery electrically coupled to the electric motor are provided, and the electric motor is a Landel synchronous motor.
