abstract |
The present invention provides a toner and a toner production method that simplify the toner production process and have good narrow particle size distribution, replenishability, and heat-resistant storage stability. A toner obtained by granulating and drying a toner composition liquid containing at least a binder resin, a release agent and fine particles as a toner component in a gaseous medium, wherein the binder resin is in contact with water. A toner having an angle of 90 ° or less and a degree of hydrophobicity of the fine particles with respect to methanol of 65% or more, and the fine particles are unevenly distributed on the toner surface.
