titleOfInvention | Toner for electrostatic latent image development |
abstract | Disclosed is a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image, which is excellent in fixability and heat-resistant storage stability and can be easily and efficiently produced. In an electrostatic latent image developing toner comprising toner core particles containing at least a binder resin and a shell layer covering the entire surface of the toner core particles, the shell layer is a resin having an average particle diameter of 100 nm to 300 nm. It is composed of an inner layer formed using first fine particles that are fine particles and an outer layer formed using second fine particles that are resin fine particles having an average particle diameter of 50 nm or less, and the surface of the shell layer is set to a predetermined degree. When the cross section of the toner for developing the electrostatic latent image is smoothed and observed using a transmission electron microscope, cracks in the direction substantially perpendicular to the surface of the toner core particles are observed inside the inner layer. .
