abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a filter hole in a membrane without performing a special operation, and to easily and arbitrarily adjust the pore diameter of the membrane once produced according to the use situation, thereby enabling a wide range of desired sizes. It is possible to provide a separation membrane that enables separation, extraction, removal, and the like of substances, and separation of objects having close sizes. When an inorganic / organic hybrid compound is formed, the inorganic / organic hybrid compound is composed of at least one inorganic oxide selected from silicic acid compounds, tungstic acid compounds, and zirconic acid compounds, and polyvinyl alcohol chemically bonded. It has a filter hole, and constitutes a separation membrane having a characteristic that the size of a separation object separable by the filter hole can be changed by heat treatment.
