abstract | A crosslinking machine capable of crosslinking a thermoplastic resin while preventing generation of voids and dents, a thermoplastic resin foam production apparatus, a thermoplastic resin crosslinking method, and a thermoplastic resin foam production method are provided. A pair of heat transfer plates (32, 42) sandwiching a sheet (10a) of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a crosslinking agent and feeding the sheet in one direction, and the pair of heat transfer plates (32, 42) are provided. Heating bodies 36 and 46 for heating the sheet 10b of the thermoplastic resin composition, and at least one of the pair of heat transfer plates 32 and 42 contains the gas generated from the thermoplastic resin composition. A plurality of through-holes to be passed are formed, and the heating bodies 36 and 46 have contact portions 36a and 46a that are arranged on the plate surfaces of the heat transfer plates 32 and 42 and come into contact with the heat transfer plates 32 and 42, Flow paths 37 and 47 for discharging the gas flowing through the through holes are formed on the plate surfaces of the contact portions 36a and 46a facing the heat transfer plates 32 and 42, respectively.
