[PROBLEMS] To prevent a decrease in electrodialysis ability due to membrane contamination with organic substances in acid recovery from an acid solution by electrodialysis. In an acid recovery method by electrodialysis using a cation exchange membrane and an anion exchange membrane, a vinyl having an anionic polymer segment having an anionic group and a vinyl alcohol polymer segment as a cation exchange membrane. A method for recovering an acid, comprising using a cation exchange membrane having a microphase separation structure containing an alcohol copolymer and having a domain size (X) in the range of 0 nm <X≰150 nm.
