abstract | [Problem] To provide a method for producing a polyamide capable of continuously extruding a polyamide resin having an appropriate molecular weight and a low yellowness from a polyamide oligomer having a predetermined moisture content from an extruder. A polyamide resin having a moisture content of 3% by mass or less is polycondensed by melting and kneading inside a cylinder S of an extruder to produce a polyamide resin. The extruder has an open vent OV1 and vacuum vents VV1, VV2. A step-down element Y is provided on the upstream side of the positions of the vacuum vents VV1, VV2, and the open vent OV1 is provided in the upstream area OA and is in a pressurized state, and is a polyamide located below the open vent OV1. The difference between the relative viscosity of the resin and the relative viscosity of the polyamide resin extruded from the extruder is set to 0.9 or less. [Selection] Figure 1 |
