abstract |
A lithium ion secondary battery having excellent cycle characteristics is provided. A negative electrode, a positive electrode, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode are provided. The negative electrode 10 contains silicon oxide powder containing a Si phase and a SiO 2 phase. The separator 20 includes a porous substrate layer 22 mainly composed of a resin, and a porous heat-resistant layer 24 mainly composed of ceramic particles provided on at least one surface of the porous substrate layer 22. .
