It is an object to provide a two-component developer for developing an electrostatic latent image having high durability. The two-component developer for developing an electrostatic latent image according to the present invention includes toner particles obtained by attaching an external additive to toner base particles, carrier particles obtained by coating the surface of carrier core particles with a coating resin.
