abstract | The present invention provides a novel method for producing a toner having a high amount of pigment held in the toner and a desired roundness. The present invention relates to a process for preparing toner particles. More specifically, this process produces toner particles with high pigment retention and desirable roundness. It may be prepared using a dilution process to reduce the solid content of the particulate mixture, thereby increasing the fusing rate of the toner particles. Inclusion of a dilution step in the toner particle preparation process facilitates rapid toner fusing to achieve roundness. [Selection figure] None |
