PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the scratch resistance of a recorded image derived from an ink film formed by an acid precipitation reaction in an image recording apparatus and an image recording method using an ink containing a pigment. When recording is performed using two different types of inks, a small region to which ink having a relatively strong pH buffering ability in a basic region is later applied is a basic region in a unit region on a recording medium. The ink ejection order is controlled so that the ink having a relatively weak pH buffering capacity is larger than the small area to be applied later. [Selection] Figure 9 |
