abstract | An aqueous resin composition having excellent weather resistance, hot water whitening resistance, blocking resistance and frost damage resistance is provided. An inner layer constituting an emulsion particle contains 75 to 100% by weight of a monomer having an alicyclic structure and 0 to 25% by weight of a monomer copolymerizable with the monomer having an alicyclic structure. The amount of the monomer having an alicyclic structure per 600 parts by weight of the monomer component that is formed of the polymer (I) obtained by emulsion polymerization of the monomer component and the outer layer is 250 parts by weight or more. The monomer component having an alicyclic structure per 500 parts by weight of the monomer component constituting the outer layer is emulsion-polymerized and has a glass transition temperature of 40 ° C.
