titleOfInvention Stereoscopic video encoding apparatus, stereoscopic video decoding apparatus, stereoscopic video encoding system, stereoscopic video encoding program, and stereoscopic video decoding program
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic effect to both decoded images even if a part of information obtained by multiplexing and encoding a right-eye image and a left-eye image is lost in a transmission path or the like, and does not cause a visual field conflict. A stereoscopic video encoding device and a stereoscopic video decoding device are provided. In a stereoscopic video encoding device, information on the horizontal lines of a left-eye image and a right-eye image is mixed in the horizontal direction alternately so that the same subject area is close to the horizontal line of a multiplexed image. Information is generated, and the resulting multiple image is encoded. In the stereoscopic video decoding apparatus, the left-eye image and the right-eye image are reproduced by demultiplexing processing that is the reverse of the above-described multiplexing processing on the decoded and returned multiplexed image. Even if there is a lack of information, the corresponding regions of the left-eye image and the right-eye image disappear together, and there is no problem associated with the disappearance of only one of them.
