abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a photoacoustic blood model that can simulate the oxygen saturation of a human body in photoacoustic wave diagnosis and is suitable for accuracy management and calibration of the photoacoustic wave diagnostic apparatus. Absorption of a light-absorbing compound at any two wavelengths λ 1 and λ 2 (λ 1 <λ 2 ), in which two or more kinds of light-absorbing compounds are contained in a blood model base material and 600 nm or more and 1100 nm or less. The coefficient ratios μ [λ 2 ] / μ [λ 1 ] are different from each other, and S calculated from Equation (1) is 0 or more and 100 or less.
