The aqueous polyurethane dispersion comprises a polyurethane polymer obtained by reaction of an isocyanate-functional polyurethane prepolymer A) with an isocyanate-reactive component B), wherein the isocyanate-functional prepolymer A) comprises an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and A polyol component comprising a polyester polyol obtained by reaction of a mixture comprising at least one diol selected from the group consisting of a linear aliphatic diol and a branched aliphatic diol; and based on the total weight of the polyisocyanate ≧ It is obtained by reaction of a mixture containing a polyisocyanate component containing 50% by weight of dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate.
