Self-assembled peptide nanoparticles as a vaccine against norovirus infection |
abstract |
Self-assembling peptide nanoparticles (SAPNs) that incorporate T cell epitopes and display the P domain of Norovirus protein VP1 are described. The nanoparticles of the present invention consist of aggregates of continuous peptide chains comprising two coiled-coil oligomerization domains linked by a linker segment, where one or both oligomerization domains are T cell within their peptide sequence. Incorporates an epitope. These nanoparticles are useful as vaccines and adjuvants for the prevention and treatment of norovirus infection. |
